This year we are extremely fortunate to have Diane Espinosa giving art lessons to our class.
Mrs. Espinosa taught for 35 years (most of them at 2nd grade), and retired a few years ago. She is an amazing teacher, colleague, and friend. We miss her so much. But, thankfully our class will receive an art lesson from her about every two weeks. We have already had 2 lessons, and the kids are loving it! So far, we have learned about primary and secondary colors, and a painting technique called "stippling" (pop quiz!...ask your child about it) If you see Mrs. Espinosa in the hallways, make sure you thank her for sharing her time, and talent, with Room 29!
Here are some pictures from our lessons. Don't see your child below? Please send in your Permission to Photograph/Video paper (included in the thick white packet sent home about 2 weeks ago, or picked up at Back to School Night)
