Helping Your Child learn to tie their Own shoes

Hi, Parents!  I have noticed that many of  Room 29s students are walking around with untied laces this year. This is just plain dangerous, so I am going to challenge all of the students of Room 29 to learn to tie their own shoes this year.  They will need your help!  Now,  I have two children (9 and 13) of my own, and remember that it was not as easy as it sounded.   Not to mention, that Velcro just made it unnecessary for the longest time.  I have posted some links and videos below that I wish were around when I was trying to teach my own little ones how to tie their own shoes.  I hope one of these will help.

Thanks,
Mrs. Rios
